Good introduction into the fortification and the history of the era and area. Chance to visit restored positions. Remember to pay entrance fee and maybe have a coffee; they've done a lot of work and need the income to upkeep the services.

It's okay, but it's a bit boring, especially on the outside. And 7 euros per person, eh. But if you're interested in war history, go for it!
WW II - German fortifications preserved quite nicely on hill side.
If you're interested in WW2 history, then this is definitely worth the visit
Very impressive lesson of history up n the north west of Finland, especially for me as German it was very interesting to see how it looked like what happened here, what still is left ...
Nice presentation of reconstructions of German defences. Good way of showing people what things looked like
Interesting museum, -1 star for dried out munkki...
This WWII museum was a very pleasant surprise, a large maze of trenches and restored bunkers outdoors amidst beautiful natural surroundings ( 1.2 km of walkable trenches). One could really get a feel of the soldiers daily life here. The museum had also some exhibitions indoors and a cafe. A perfect stop on your roadtrip, and a good bit of excercise as a bonus!
