Although it’s hard to find an appointment online, but the office is super clean and the staff are very helpful.

Well organized and smoothly processing services office. THE GOOD There is registration (maistraatin), Kela, and Vero office, all in one place. The place is well designed and comfortable. The queue goes fast. If you need other services you can be automatically redirected to another queue with the same number so you don't have to take a new one. Everyone speaks English. THE BAD Hard to find (Google maps brings you somewhere else at the moment). Working in progress on the street Vero and Kela offices are limited to first registration. No drinkable water. BOTTOM LINE It's for sure one of the best serviced public office where I have ever been.

Even though the place was full of people (time was 14:00), the waiting time for the service I personally needed was less than two minutes, for some reason. The staff I spoke to was friendly and helpful.

The new office is much better than the previous one and much more organized and they have an office for tax vero

Friendly place with little wait if you go in the morning. The staff working there is very helpful and they are able to respond to most of your questions. When they can’t they can transfer you to those that can. I would recommend this place for Those curious about registering their trade mark or business.

Is there any population registration point available in Helsinki?

Prepare to queue. Reservation system would really improve the service. Even with a social security number the registration of a foreign person takes up to NINE weeks! Over two months! That's insane. You can't do anything in Finland unless you've been registered. How can it take so long?

A very thoughtful and convenient government service of registering foreigners. Extremely friendly personnel who are ready to answer any questions a newcomer to Finland can have. The queues move quickly and after you complete your application it takes about 15 min for them to process it and give you a certificate. I have been in many countries as a worker but have never seen such a smooth registration process for immigrants in any country.
