It became one of my favorite place in Helsinki! The museum on the 9th floor was very nice. Staffs in the shop was very kind too. A Japanese staff helped me out to mail my shopping items to Japan. She was extremely nice. Thanks to her once again. Highly recommend to visit !

It's a relatively small gallery. The curator was very friendly and patiently answered all our questions. We were offered free coffee. The entrance is the large glass structure on the side. The museum is located on the 8th floor, accessible by elevator. There's a store on the ground floor.

It was such a pleasure to visit. I don't know how often the exhibition area and design studio is open to the public, but it was a privilege to be able to visit. We had an incredibly knowledgeable guide and there was so much to learn about the history of Arabia and Iittala even though I know the brands fairly well. My favourite part of the tour was definitely the design studio itself and getting a peak at some of the artists own rooms. Magical and inspirational.

Cool Design museum to see the exhibits of finnish style glass and ceramics. Went here for 40 mins as part of the panorama tour with the helsinki card (61euro for 48 hr) Part of the urban tour which is nice. There is free coffee upstairs, which is drunk out of designer cups just saying. Lots to read and take in, couldve spent an hour. There is also a shop downstairs (tax free over 40 euro spend)

A premise with loads and loads of light coming in from two sides of the gallery is a perfect place for studying the legendary names of Finnish Design. Free of charge.

The museum area is free and it's worth a visit to learn more about ittala. Plus, you get a discount for the shop downstairs. There's a library and a coffee shop and a couple brands more with outlets.
