A charming bakery and cafe in a pleasant neighbourhood. There is an English version of the menu, which was very helpful. We stopped by at lunchtime to have some delicious soup and baked goods, but I suspect breakfast must be great as well. Sourdough bread was one of the best we tried in Finland.

Levain is a great, reasonably priced bakery with some interesting breakfast and lunch options. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere helps you enjoy the pastries. The mushroom soup was quite impressive, while the bread lacked the depth and richness that characterize well-baked sourdoughs.

Well worth walking to this incredible bakery/Cafe. Food drink and service all very good. What a gem!! Easy wheelchair access although a very small cafe. Along with the WC

A café star in the design district of Helsinki. Delicious avocado toast, waffles and cappuccino. Really like the interior and decoration of the café. Service was great, English speaking and friendly. Also dogs are allowed inside Seems to be popular, at least when I visited the was a line so it might be good to go here during non peak hours.

Wonderful pastries and croissants, coffee less good but still very much worth the experience! Absolutely lovely service and great space!

Came by for morning tea and had amazing pastries (milk tart & kouign amann) and the most perfect sausage & egg brioche sandwich here. My only regret is that I didn’t get some of their sourdough to go!

Usually better, maybe today the workers just had a bad day. Had the food there before, nothing to complain, but the attitude, atmosphere and the service will most probably make me go forward somewhere else next time.

Not sure why there’s a huge line outside this cafe, I did not find it to be of high quality. I got a cappuccino and this sweet bun (voipulla). Cappuccino tasted more like a latte, it mostly tasted like milk and almost no trace of coffee. And it was quite expensive, 4.20 euro and another 0.5 extra for oat milk. The sweet bun had the cardamum on top instead of baked with the dough, which was an interesting twist to the pastry, but eventually it has no taste of cardamum to it. Also the pastry was so doughy as if it was not baked through. I threw away half of it, I just didn’t want to eat dough.
