Pieter, the owner, is very attentive to details and conscientious and a really nice person. We live nearby and have been getting our bikes serviced here regularly since Lucky Bird opened, and have now purchased a new bike from Pieter as well. The quality of the work and equipment is excellent and the prices seem fair. We liked how customizable one of the main brand of bikes sold here is, Velo de Ville from Germany—Pieter let us take a lot of time to test ride different possible model types and combinations, and he provided expert help in determining the best posture/position for the individual rider, before placing a custom order for the new bike. The shop can get busy, but the turnaround time for service has been quick and reliable. Highly recommended!
