Own a Bristol from 2013, as well as a Hanko from both 2014 and 2020. Been happy with them both, but recently purchased a Hanko Street 2020 just to find out soon after my purchase that the split shell connections in the frame might have to be reinforced and also before even reaching a 100km of light commuting, the left crank arm came loose.

There is only one Pelago
I bought a Pelago Bristol in July 2017 and since then, I had to spend more than 1.5 times the original price of the bike in repairs. I gave up, and bought myself another bike from another brand. In the first 6 months of use, I had to spend more than half of the price of the bike in repairs. Broke so many spokes I lost count, replace a back wheel, broke a crank shaft, replaced gears, replaced front brakes.... When I wrote to Pelago about it, I was referred to the dealer and told it was under warranty if my bike had been serviced in the first 200-300 km, which I wasn’t informed by the dealer so it wasn’t. When I reached to the dealer about it, I never heard back on it. Bike was sold to me as a solid and reliable commuter bike, and I must admit I am very disappointed.
Staff was patient with my English and very impressed to have fans overseas. Service was quick and friendly. The store is clean and organized and I wish they would distribute to the USA already.
A brand that combines traditionally elegant European bicycle designs and practicality. The shop is always a pleasure to visit as long as their only customer seat by the door is free.
I bought a Stavanger frameset in April, with a trip to Cuba planned shortly afterwards. Pekka and the team were incredibly helpful in advising on sizing, and really worked hard to get my frame to me in time to build it up for my trip. The frame was delivered well packaged, with useful instructions on assembly. Built up, the Stavanger feels very solid and stable, but not dead or lifeless. I've ridden it bare, and loaded with rear panniers and a handlebar bag- in all situations it feels very capable. Really happy with my purchase, and would recommend to anyone. Thanks!
