I've been visiting Gandhi on and off for over 10 years. Especially the lunch is amazing value: 7.50 for large and tasty lunch with variety of choices! My only wish is that they would include a second vegetarian dish on the lunch menu.
It's worst place for any get-together or party... We were having get-together of 23 people but guests were really frustrated with attitude of the waiter.. Also,some guests reported that waiter surved very worst Paneer Curry second time when they ordered.. Ravintola Gandhi management doesn't knows how to manage the party or get-together at there place, only a single waiter was serving all things to people in party and other customers also which results in very delay in all services (Starters, Main Course, sweet dish)...
Friendly staff! The MANGO LASSIE was out of this world! Delicious its worth stopping by only to have a mango lassie!
We ordered via Wolt and it was clean and fast. Regular Indian cuisine. Really impressed by their take away package which was clean and sustainable. prices are OK but no naan or salad is included for the price.
Unfortunately the owner/staff was very rude. Marketing paneer but selling bread cheese. Not authentic Indian food.
Had been there for the first time, been asked what do I want to order, and in thr end I got the dishes I want but completely the opposite (asked for garlic Nan got plain asked spicy chicken Tikka got sweet, but the food itself very delicious spicy or not. Made with great ingredients, but alway double check with them when you do decide to order something at this place. I won't come back there that's for sure
As close as you get to British Indian food in Helsinki (and probably Finland but unfortunately this cannot be confirmed) Good service and portion sizes. Special recommendation for the chicken jalfrezi.
