Had the worst restaurant experience ever. Ordered the minced beef and they served us ”HK Tuorejauhelihapihvi” with some tasteless mashed potato and a watery mushroom sauce. Never thought I would be served commercially prepared processed food at a restaurant. They even admitted to us that the chef can’t do any better. I don’t recommend visiting this restaurant.

To people who are bad at navigation, the restaurant is on the island, and you need to take a boat to the island. Go to Olympiaterminalli, walk down hill and you'll see a small Port. That's the place where you wait for the small port to Valkosaari

I went here with some friends in July 2017 because it was Crayfish season. Being from the southeastern United States, I understand the proper way to eat Crayfish, which is piping hot, boiled in large amounts of old bay seasoning, while outside at a picnic table, wearing a bib, with a mild buzz. I was shocked to find the Crayfish here were 8-11 per piece. They were served cold. Instead of Old Bay, they seem to have been boiled in what could have only been Dill Water Concentrate. They came with a side of extra Dill, just in case you needed more. For me it was a scarring experience, but of course this is not the restaurant’s fault. This is simply how people in the Nordics consume this if crawfish. The restaurant is nice, with good service, fun decorations, and a beautiful property in the harbor where you can take photos. It’s a bit absurd that you must pay a fee (I think about 6 per person), just to get to the restaurant via private ferry. It is for this reason that I will give 4 stars.
