Modest, beautiful and peaceful Cathedral. Gorgeous and interesting Stained glass windows. St. Henry's Cathedral dedicated to Henry, 12th- century Bishop of Finland. The Church was designed by architect Ernst Lohrmann. It was constructed between 1858-1860, primary to serve Russian Catholis in the army as well as Catholic merchants.

A lovely church. A little unusual due to its general lack of ornaments.

A lovely Catholic cathedral. Attended weekday mass with locals and did not feel out of place. Buses and trams stop immediately outside making it very accessible. Regular masses.

Beautiful ambience in this old church - excellent for finding a moment of peace and refuge in downtown Helsinki

Beautiful icon of gold at the side chapel really worth to visit. People are very nice. My teenage boy who is a pianist is allowed and guided to touch the organ the very first time in his life!! Not a big Roman Catholic Cathedral as in other countries of Europe, this is Finland.
