Cozy and quiet! The staff are wonderful and informative. The place is clean and pretty well maintained. I liked how quiet it was even though it's on a busy road. The area is lively, and maybe 'up and coming' but it's really conveniently located for the metro, trams and buses.

Friendly staffs. Clean room. The kitchen is clean most of time. Quiet hostel. Other guests are also nice. A guy made coffee and boiled a pot of eggs for everyone every morning. He told me that he only stayed 4 days but had 20 eggs. There was a lady made a pie one night and shared with me.
Very nice Hostel, good for the price. About 10minutes by public bus from the central train station. Very helpful staff, corresponding by email as we had to check in very late and they left very detailed instructions. We booked the double room, kitchen was well stocked, the WiFi worked well and there was a guest computer as well, a sauna and roof terrace. Room and place was clean and tidy. Very useful hints and tips on where to go in Helsinki. Would recommend for a cheap, good place to stay for a couple of nights.
Really nice and friendly hostel in Helsinki with the cheapest prices. The staff are very welcoming and help you with the check in. There are lockets in room and operated with the key card so not need to bring an additional padlock. The hostel is situated very close to a metro stop two stops from the Central railway and is a nice 30min walk from the Senator Square. They're are good facilities for a hostel including clean sheets and bedding, towels are extra charge and fully operational kitchen. WiFi is good and space for eating, working and socialising. A possibility to rent a sauna and free use of computer. Some minor points for improvement, beds are squeaky, so late arrivals or early risers may disturb others sleeping. They are the metal bunk beds, with rather thin mattresses. They are OK to sleep in for a few nights, but not if you do not feel uncomfortable and need to move around in the night! The lighting system could be updated with more sensor based lighting, especially in the bathroom and toilet areas. The air quality is ok, but some people with sensitive allergies may find the air circulation is not the best. All in all, for the No frills hostel in Helsinki, it is probably the best for the price.
Good amenities but not very clean. The staff is friendly but unfortunately there were some strange people staying here like the lady who ate fries in her bed every night. Someone boiled eggs and left them on the stove for three days. Sometimes it would smell like cigarette smoke inside. Can't put all the blame on the hostle, but the place could have benifited from a good clean and opening a window.
Lovely flat, room and accomodation. A comfy environment where to feel everything but stressed. Love it :)
