Great coffee! Comes in a large cup. The pear mousse cake was heavenly. The tartines are tasty but a bit expensive for the portion. Love the vibe of this place and good service. Also pet friendly and sometimes the staff's dog is there too :)

Its not the first time I get bad costumer service. Today, with -21 outside, I asked soup and even before I payed, the cashier told me to be quick and leave. I left right away. Also, the dog should not be around sniffing in between client's legs. I really like the food, however, I prefer to pay more and get better costumer service somewhere else.

Lovely food and atmosphere! The staff are very friendly. I especially liked the lunch deal, which in addition to sourdough bread, gives you the option of a dessert/pastry. The croissant, pain au chocolat and mousse cake are delicious! Also, the "meat" on the bread is tasty and realistic. I would highly recommend Tartine to vegans and non-vegans alike
Nice new French-inspired café and bakery. Good choice of breakfast and lunch combinations and especially fantastic baked goods. Everything is vegan, but, even for croissants, we really didn’t miss the more traditional butter, as they were crunchy and tasty without being too fatty. Tartine seems to be so popular that they may run out of pastries: when it happened to us, they gave us two extra mini croissants. The service is really a highlight! Having started in Covid-times, they put extra care in distancing, cleanliness, and wearing masks.

The first time I tried vegan French pastry. Unfortunately It wasn’t really fluffy (maybe that’s part of the vegan experience?) and for some reason the outsides of their croissants are coated with sugar which left me with sticky fingers. If you want to try their pastry nevertheless better be early since it already sells out in the morning hours.
