Happened to be popular bar on a weekend night. Close to the market square and prices are corresponding. We liked the atmosphere, though, and there were many kinds of people, especially from many age groups, in the bar. They also seemed to have indoors smoking cabinet.

Drinks are pricey by American standards but within walking distance from Downtown hotels in Joensuu. A few beers on tap and decent liquor selection. Mix of people ranges from students from nearby university to business travelers. I'd go back.
Quite ok. They weren't able to make some basic drinks, but you can get beer and cider.

Easy going place, no fuss
Not quite the hard rock dive bar it used to be, but I'd still drop by for a mixed drink. Quite silent early in the evening.
