New all-you-can-eat sushi buffet in Joensuu! Mediocre sushi, a lot of variety. Chinese food. Vegetarian options. Miso and Tom yum soup. Chocolate & vanilla ice cream and cookies for dessert, along with coffee or tea. Definitely a filling meal. Big bonus: sodas are included in the buffet price! The lunch prices are affordable on business days between 10.30-17. The restaurant has restrooms. -It's quite busy now that it's new, so be prepared that you might feel a bit rushed. -Some of the utensils, cups and plates were not completely clean. -The salmon sushi fills your sushi craving, however the rice wasn't fresh. Otherwise some of the sushi was quite plain, dried up and flavorless.

Sushi buffet is increasingly popular in the small town of joensuu. The chain luckiefuns have taken an ideal location where the local bistro (top three restaurant in trip advisor) restaurant was. An open plan kitchen let's the eaters see how all the sushi and Chinese food is made. There is a separate table for the vegetarian sushi and salad. There are 15 tables and open during the time of the pandemic was an interesting decision. No need for waiters to serve you, just pay on entry for the buffet, eat and drink as you like, and then leave. Staff organise take away boxes, and full up the buffet. The restaurant now has sushi making machines, so it is made consistently which is good, but not necessarily authentic. A balance needs to be made between demand and quality, and while the food is edible and is sushi, it isn't necessarily the best sushi when eating at the restaurant. There is now competition for sushi in the restaurants in the city centre, and if you are choosing for the best sushi, it isn't found here. Having said that, there are fully blended food experience with the other buffet food chain restaurants, when you look at the pizza buffet chain, this is comparable, although the price is a bit higher. That means, you get a choice of soups, there is a choice of sushi and Chinese food. There are deserts, mainly in the form of ice cream. There is unlimited soft drink dispenser, tea, coffee, water. A lot of child friendly options too. Definitely get the moneys worth of you are looking to feast or on sushi or Chinese dishes. There is also the take away shop next door, to prove the popularity of the food in the city.
