Place where sellers offers electricity contracts or mobile subscription. There is also enough magazine resellers and earth savers petition collectioners. It's quite lame to arrange meetings there, but it's easy.

For a historical landmark, this is nothing but a small square with a fountain and a handful of restaurants on the walking street of Jyväskylä. Something that would be easily missed by a tourist. However, it is a famous local meeting spot. If someone ever says to you "meet me at Kompassi", this is the spot they mean. Hard to miss anyone here.

Good place for walking and shopping
Middle of the city easy to tell people where to meet.
Terrible noise, as centrum has many constructions ongoing. Avoid.
