A nice and non expensive place to take the kids. Plenty of room for them to run around and explore the trains. The play park is nice and well maintained but best of all is the miniature railway which takes you all around the park.

Is it a playground or Museum or event location, or a campground? All of the above! The place generally feels a bit past its prime, since the locomotives are continuously degrading, but the playground is nice and the facilities are clean. Unfortunately the miniature train wasn't running anymore when we were there, since it was late in the season.
Staff were friendly and nice, got to sleep in an old wooden train car, which was clean and cozy. Even though it rained for most of the day, staff suggested things to do. The lunch was good.
