Elina from Adventure by Design advised us to rent perfect equipment for different areas around Kilpisjärvi. There were three of us, and we all enjoyed this trip a lot. She helped us planning the trips, gave great tips and made us curious about the summer in Kilpisjärvi, too. After spending the days around New Year's in the area, we are interested in returning on Easter Holidays or in August, September, October or so. Beautiful area with super nice people

Spent a beautiful week in Kilpisjärvi with Adventure by Design. Had a lot of fun being out skiing/snowshoeing and a wonderful night in the wilderness! Great job of the entire team and special thanks to Amanda for being a perfect guide :-)
Gareth and his team were amazing on our Arctic Challenge adventure! Great knowledge about the areas, countries, food and culture. Very resourceful, friendly and has an obvious passion for adventure. Even in crazy blizzard conditions, I felt safe being guided by Gareth. Would highly recommend! He's also an epic photographer!
In August we did the "hiking in the arctic wilderness" tour. It was a really great tour. The landscape is amazing! With Gareth as our guide we had a really good time. We learnt so much about navigation, crossing rivers etc. It was a journey which we will keep in good memory. Also Gareth's and Elina's support were great. It started from planning the tour over lost backpack at the airport to having some last relaxing days before leaving. It was a overwhelming journey. And we think it won't be the last time, we come to Kilpisjärvi.
