Very beautiful and cozy place to spend holiday just above the arctic circle. It is located so that you can see Auroras also without light pollution like in the city. Still close enough to thee city of Rovaniemi. Recommended!

Really nice place. We had an Aurora cabin with overhead glass. The northern lights were active on our first night there and you can see them from inside the cabin. They have several activities available from the resort grounds, no long bus rides needed. We did Aurora Hunting on a "snow train" and driving a dog sled. We had a great time on both. If you come to Lapland I recommend staying here.

We went on a dog sledging trip as a family of 4. The trip.was at night with the hope of seeing the Aurora....which we found it is highly unlikely to be seen but all trips sell this possibility. The husky trip was wonderful although we were not aware beforehand that we would be driving the sledge.. 1 person standing and 1 sitting. This was a problem as we needed to have 3 people needed to.sit but the guide resolved this. The dogs are lovely, Siberian huskies. Very friendly. Would recommend this trip

A really great experience with many adventures. We did the night train to see the Northern Lights, Arctic zoo, Dogsledding with huskies, the ice sauna experience, and snowmobiling to see the Northern Lights. Just a really cool rustic resort in the Arctic Circle. Truly nice people and a great alternative to some of the more traditional Santa centric villages in the area. They are also nearby and a close tax drive to visit.

I would highly recommend Apukka as we stayed in the KOMSIO Suite One of the amazing experience we had ! The design of the wood on the wall was amazing ! Even my mum on FaceTime saw it and loved it! The bed needs to be improved it wasn’t comfortable the double bed is not sticks to together, they look like two single beds next to each other! The bathroom needs to be improved also they didn’t put any kits like a tooth brush, shaving kit etc... the design of the glass roof oh amazing I also loved the heater for the windows and the roof when ever there was snow we would open it and all the snow melts very good idea but I figured it out on my last night (I wish they would have told us from the beginning) at least print a paper that explains what we have in the room The hot chocolate was very tasty !! I even loved how they clean our porch every morning They brought out luggage with a sled to the room very good so we don’t pull our bags in the snow The staff were very very friendly loved how they smile and try to help you with every way they can Love the Resturant staff Breakfast need more variety for vegetarian people, it was decent. We went on a finish horse back riding it was a great experience! Loved the horses but there was a crazy horse (black and white) I think they should change him he wasn’t friendly They also have a bus that cost 12 per person (round trip) to Santa village Overall one of our most memorable stay in Finland and we do hope to come back again

Nice place to stay with glass roof rooms if lucky to see the Aurora lights. Plenty of activities through the hotel or locally and close to Santa village Not the cheapest but nice place

Apukka resort is amazing. The aurora cabins are beautiful and warm. The place covers the full range of activities to create a genuine Lapland experience. Totally worth the investment to create life lasting memories with your family or partner.

We stayed in aurora cabin. Its was a very small cozy one. Very good experience of looking at the twinkling stars lying down in bed. We couldn’t see aurora but the activities that we did was fun(fun day). The towel hanger was broken when we got there but the maintenance guy came in and fixed it right after I request it. Staffs were very friendly.
