Not as organised as other tour companies
Normund and our guide Antti (Andrew) were fantastic from beginning to end - we told Normund the dates we were there and the kind of things we wanted to do, and he built the itinerary for us - from starting our visit with a tour of Rovaniemi and a visit to the Santa Claus Village (and arranging for our kids, 11 and 7, to have a go on mini snowmobiles), Antti also took us to our husky tour (a particular highlight, 2 hours or self-drive fun), reindeer tour, northern lights (even in Early April we were lucky enough to see them, and Nortsav were flexible enough not to book us in, but just tell us to be on standby till we had the best chance of seeing them - and they didn't let us down), plus a visit to the Ranua Zoo and an Amethyst Mine, and both a pick up and dropoff at the train station where we came and left by overnight train from Helsinki. Andrew was great with our kids and overall with us, knowing exactly when to step in and when to blend into the background and leave us to it. Not once across the four days did we feel under any kind of time pressure, and he went out of his way to show us the local sights and recommend restaurants when we weren't sure where to eat. Nothing was too much trouble, and they really went out of their way to make it a trip of a lifetime for us. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Nortsav to anyone looking to make the most of a trip to Rovaniemi.
Nuestra experiencia con Nortsav Tours ha sido magnífica. Tuvimos mucha suerte con las auroras boreales y las vimos de maravilla; Normund fue muy amable y nos hizo muchísimas fotos preciosas. También hicimos con ellos la ruta en trineo de huskys y también fue fenomenal. Nos gustó mucho que fuera una empresa local y familiar, el trato directo con Normund y la flexibilidad para adaptarse a nuestros horarios. La recomiendo sin duda.
