A definite to do on a trip to Levi, some other companies needed the children to be 12 or 14 to ride on or go solo on a skidoo, here bring passports and its OK if they are over 7, have a practice area to ensure they are good enough before going out on a guided trek through the wilderness. Finish off with a hot drink, sausage or bring some marshmallows while around a fire. As all places there's a heavy XS if you crash and damage a skidoo, if you are a bit daring I'd recommend pre arranged cover.

Get a cab (18 from zero point ski center) or the ski bus (4) and walk back along the pathway next to the main road to get here. Friendly staff with well maintained equipment. We went so our 6 year old son could drive his own snow mobile round their dedicated track. 40 for half an hour which was perfect amount of time. Lovely track for the kids with various turns and inclines and big enough that they can go behind the trees and feel like they are really grown up in the winter wonderland. Fantastic!

After a bit of research, this is one of the places where one can rent powerful snowmobiles which aren't dethrottled. The rates are very fair. Best place for maximum fun

We got lost on the track.. N came back 30 min late.. The directions on the ski doo trail map is in finnish.. Which made it hard to navigate
