Had a Texas Platter with brisket. I'm not usually a big eater so seeing that the single meat platter is 19,50 I figured that would be enough for me. I could not have been more wrong. What I got was a small piece of brisket, maybe 120g. If it was really good brisket I would have felt okay with a smaller meal but this was far from it. The brisket was dry and chewy and tasted more like fish than smoked meat. The side chili was an oily and greasy mess that didn't really taste much at all. Even the pickled red onion tasted off and bitter. This was opening day and there were some confusion with our orders and we had quite a long wait for our food. All which I would find acceptable If the food was actually any good. The service, however, was good and our waitress did a good job, so that earns an extra star. I left disappointed and a bit hungry still.

Went there on opening day, so not everything being perfect is understandable, but there is quite a bit to improve upon when it comes to the food. The staff was very friendly and did a good job when interacting with customers. Somehow our orders were mixed up quite a bit and half of us got what we ordered, but that is something I would expect to be ironed out quite fast after opening day. The big improvements can be made in the food, could be that it is all up to some greater mishap in the kitchen on opening day. I had the Texas platter with three meats, which seemed like it would be the largest portion on the menu, it might have qualified as a large appetizer in Texas. I had chosen wings, burnt ends and brisket. The wings were pretty good, but they came without any dip or sauce which was a bit weird. The burnt ends were okay. The brisket on the other hand was something that a chef should only let out of the kitchen through the back door, something must have gone wrong with it and a chef should know when to say that they are out of brisket. I also had some sides of which the deep fried onion rings actually were pretty good, but the picked red onion was off in a way I can't put my finger on. I'm giving a generous three stars now, with the hope of updating my review in the future. As a side note, would be nice with some sound dampening materials in the roof, maybe those are ordered already.
Ribs and brisket were extremely dry and no smoke flavour at all. Visited on opening day but product was sub par for BBQ joint. Side chili was ok
Went there for lunch on opening day. While the processes were still a little in flux, service was great. Extra points for our waitress who fluently switched between English, Finnish and Swedish for our mixed table. The food was a disappointment. I ordered the Triple Texas Platter: The brisket was dry and chewy, the ribs were cardboard-dry and the burnt ends weren't much better. I have had good BBQ. This was not it.
Visited during opening day and had the 3 meat Texas platter - The brisket was very dry and had no smoke flavour to speak of - The ribs were so dry I did not want to finish them - Burnt bits had some better pieces but some of the pieces were all lard and no meat. No smoke flavour to speak here either. - The pickled onions were just bad. - The fries were okay. Left the place very unsatisfied. Expected a lot better quality and bigger portions for a 31 meal.
Oli sitten kamalin ravintolakokemus ikinä.. pöytävaraus tehtiin kun suositeltiin, tilaus otettiin nopeasti mutta ruuan odotus pitkä. Siinä odotellessa ehti katsella likaisia ikkunoita, ravintola avattu eilen niin luulisi ikkunoiden olevan puhtaat. Viereisen pöydän rouva palautti ruuan kahdesti, lähti syömättä. Meillä tarjoilija unohti uuniperunan joka oli kylmä, annoksen jättikatkarapu ei maistunut miltään, liha ylikypsää ja puolet läskiä, puolison perunat jäi syömättä liian suolan vuoksi. Jäi syömättä vaikka nälkä todella kova. Palautetta annettiin, kurja kun suomeksi ei voi asioida kun seisoskelevat tarjoilijat puhuu englantia. Rouva lupasi seuraavan kerran -50% mutta edes puoleen hintaan en tälläistä ruokaa kenellekään suosittele.
Savuisten asioden perässä mentiin, ja niitä löytyi. Brisketti oli kuivahkon puoleista, samoin burnt ends. Ribseissä tosi hyvä savun maku. valkosipulimajo ja sipulirenkaat mahtavia. Henkilökunta oli myös oikein mukavaa ja mesta oli saatu muutenkin viihtyisäksi. Varsinkin takatilan baari. ) Arvosteluissa useaan kertaan mainittu kuivuus, nyt jäbät ottakaa tämä haltuun! Nähdään taas, tulen uudestaan.
Erinomaista ruokaa ja mukava paikka. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä ja avuliasta.
