My sonny was interested in because first of all here is a real story about one of the reasons for the loss of the Winter War - learn from mistakes! And a lot of the recently used and shown items are actively used in military conflicts for now (Libya, Syria, Eastern Ukraine ...).

Small anti-aircraft museum that goes through the history of A-A in Finland. It was great place to visit with my 10yo, who was very interested to see all the exhibits. Took about 2 good to go through everything. You can get really close to all the exhibits with some interactive parts too. Nothing fancy as this is kept by volunteers, and it shows in a good home grown kind of way.

The Finnish anti-aircraft defence museum presents the development of Finnish anti-aircraft defence all the way from 1925 to today. It showcases a globally unique and diverse collection of anti-aircraft systems, and, for example, a MIG-3 fighter that was shot down in 1941. The museum hosts two large exhibition halls, a service centre, the so-called 'Kapteenin puustelli' - Captain’s house - an official military residence from the 1700s and the oldest building in Tuusula, as well as an extensive outdoor exhibition area. The Tuusula exhibition hall presents the birth of anti-aircraft systems in Finland, alongside the time after the war, from automated firearm systems to modern ballistic missiles. The ‘Helsinki’ hall presents wartime anti-aircraft defence equipment from the Finnish Winter War to the Lapland War, while ‘Kapteenin puustelli’ hosts an exhibition on the military heritage of Tuusula along with a cabinet for meetings. The outdoor exhibition area showcases equipment from an anti-aircraft rocket battery action station. Opposite to the entrance to the anti-aircraft museum, is Klaavola Museum of local history and culture. It is open during events and by appointment only. A cafe and a small museum shop are open for public.

Surprisingly large area and a very reasonable entry price. In addition to military equipment, there was a possibility to enjoy a group of sheep who were present in the area. Watch out for \land mines\ created by the abovementioned sheep!
