All was great with the car and all, but I forgot a personal belonging in the car. I emailed the customer-service the same day I returned the car, also emailed the Lost and found several times. It’s now been 3 weeks and I still didn’t get any reply...

I do love Sixt and they are the best - or least bad however you want to put it - but sometimes in Finland and Sweden they can disappoint. Booked a CLA (which is a nice small 4 door coupe) and got a Passat station wagon (which is a terrible looking car for families) ie. not at all a comparable car - so was forced to pay extra for an upgrade to a C class sedan. This is a bit disappointing way to treat loyal customers, but on the other hand the competitors of Sixt can be even worse.
Rented a car for summer holiday. Windshield scratched when i received it. One big and several small scaratches. Only the big scratch was mentioned in the rental papers. I notified about the small ones when picking up the car. Answer was not to worry since windshield already damaged. During the rental period, as the car was parked in the sun, one of the smaller scratches developed into a small crack in the lower part of the windshield. I delieverd the car, explained what had happened and they agreed that it was all due to the existing damages to the windshield. When I had left the country Sixt sent a mail inforing that they would like to have me pay for the windshield anyway. They charged 700 Euros from my credit card, for an already damaged window which we did not damage. I have not been successful getting the money back from Sixt despite several contacts with them. I would recommend using any other rental agency at Helsinki Vantaa, just not Sixt.
Smooth experience all around, easy to get from and to the terminal. Would recommend for everyone looking for a reasonably priced car rental from Helsinki airport.
