As always a great place to go with the family. This time they had a special offer because of closed restaurants. They offered sausage that could be roasted at several lean-to shelters along the route.

Zoo with optional length routes. Pandas are the main attraction of the zoo. As it was winter time 31.12.2020 several parts were closed or had no inhabitants. The longer route we took, took about 2 hours to complete with stops and photography at several POI's. There was the possibility to grill sausages on open fire (you have cover and places to sit and tables) along the route etc. if you had them with you. It was nice and very spacious at this time with very few families, couples or people in general around. Wolverine's arranges a great and funny show. They really enjoyed playing together. No feeding of animals. No flash photography. This special time meant that the adult ticket pre-purchased cost 29 eur and kids ticket 15 eur. Includes Panda house, the "track" around the compound and the "farm". Open from 10.00 to 15.00. Toilets open and desinfectant around everywhere.

Nice atmosphere in a healthy Finnish forest. Animals are well placed and seem to Be quite Happy. Entrance fee is a bit steep, though.

This zoo is not your average cages-in-row-zoo. It's built into a Finnish forest with couple of trails (1 & 3 km long). The enclosures for the animals are along the paths. They only have a few animals, which are mostly found wild in Finland. (Obviously pandas are not.) We enjoyed the walk and got to see a lot of rare animals close up, even the wolves! The pandas are totally different setup though. They have larger indoor enclosures with attached outside address too. Visitors have great viewing platforms in and out.

Has to be the best zoo I've ever visited. No tropical animals this far north, and the enclosures were bigger than usual and not right next to each other. I really liked the concept of combining a forest walk and zoo, and also how the whole thing was a simple loop and you saw everything without trying to figure where you are. The hotel was also nice - very well maintained, and good considering it's price range. I like fancy hotels and this one wasn't one, but it definitely wasn't bad. A very well spent autumn day with the family.

This zoo is beautiful, well kept and very informative. The Snow Panda house alone would be worth the visit but with the same ticket you get to see wolves, bears, wolverines and many other animals in their carefully designed habitats. Highly recommend this park!

Pandas, even though they just sleep and eat. Lots of other animals as well and they have pretty large enclosures compared to some other zoos. Besides, you'll get some exercise as well, as the tour is over 3km long and it is not a flat area.
