I came in for a late lunch today. The place was empty at this time. I ordered a mix buffet (medium spicy). I got rice, salad, raita, naan and 2 dishes of my choice. The naan and rice were prepared well. The non veg tikka masala was tasty, but the shahi paneer was a bit bland. Overall a decent meal for the price. The staff were nice and helpful.
Its a very nice place, when I came for lunch few days back it was exceptionally good. Seems something has changed, the taste is not as consistent as before. I would have given a 5 star l, but not this time.
It's small, but still a great place. Food is great and the staff are nothing, but nice. Looks great inside. Also it's not that expensive. If I had friends I would most definitely force them to visit this place. Also it closes really late, so even if you come in a little later like at 8 you still get in and the place is open up to 00:00. Amazing!

The best Indian restaurant in the Espoo and Helsinki. Foods are amazing (I highly recommend the butter chicken at Tuesday buffet, sometimes on Thursday as well) and they serve freshly baked Naans even for the buffet customers. Their Naan is by far the best we've ever tasted in Finland. Above all, restaurant employees are very kind and child-friendly. With two little daughters, we always find ourselves feeling uncomfortable to be in the restaurant for some reasons, but we could feel at home in this restaurant. And both of kids love their food as well. I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, even for those who are not familiar with Indian cuisine. (Try first the butter chicken in that case)
Update: Lowered rating from 5 to 3. The tastes have drastically changed Real Indian food in Matinkylä! Tastes like home, good ambience, open until late.
