ESN Lappeenranta is part of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), which is a Europe-wide non-profit student organisation, with the aim of supporting and developing student mobility on a local, national and international level. ESN sections are present in 16 universities in Finland and in 50 countries across Europe. ESN works under the principle of students helping students. The main mission of ESN Lappeenranta is to improve international student experiences in the local level and provide the students the best possible stay in Finland. This is done by integrating the foreign students with the local students and Finnish culture. ESN Lappeenranta organizes different events and free-time activities, for example cultural events and trips.
