The Finnish Hostel Association (Suomen Hostellijärjestö ry, former Suomen Retkeilymajajärjestö – SRM oy) is a non-profit organization for hostel operations that was established in 1935. The Finnish Hostel Association has about 35 member associations, consisting of Finnish youth-, student-, sports-, pensioners-, professional and tourism associations. Finnish Hostel Association maintains and develops on behalf of their member associations the hostel network in Finland, which provides in particular comfortable, cozy and affordable accommodation in Finland for more than one million Finnish members. The Finnish Hostel Association is part of the global network Hostelling International (HI).
