Stayed in a 6 person cottage (4 beds and sofa bed) which was perfect size for 2 adults and a cot for a baby (provided by the site). Would have been very snug for 6 adults. Location of the cottage was spectacular. Not more than 20 metres from the edge of the lake. Perfect for a sauna and swim. Great park for kids in the middle of the site with laundry facilities and cooking facilities if camping. Site felt like it needed just a little TLC on some aspects but overall a great week in a great location.

Been here every summer the last 10 years. Nice place.
Campsite is nice *but* when we stayed, 200 berry-pickers (occupying the cabins) drove non stop through it from 7pm to 11pm, and from 5am to 7am with noisy trailers. Not enough showers for such a crowd, especially when everybody arrives in a short period of time. An unpleasant experience overall
Definitely a place to check out especially if you are with children who will enjoy lamas and other animals walking all over the island. There are guest houses for different budget levels and boat/fishing equipment rental - take one and go exploring beautiful lake and islands - hundred of them. Been here in 2014 and want to come back again.
The place is a little past it's prime, but the facilities are ok and clean. At least in 2019 majority of the cabins were used by berry picking crew from Thailand, which caused quite a bit of traffic in early mornings and late evenings.
Cottage was clean and cozy. Be careful, there is no wifi. Nice place for quiet vacation
The location, setting is as good as it gets. Has a lot of space, cottages of different sizes, and great access to the lake - very level beach. The reason falls short of 5* was the somewhat abject service... I'm in Finland the staff do not speak Finnish nor English. This was problematic, particuarly in the restaurant. I would definitely visit again... They just need to polish up the service side. Site was clean, very child friendly and even has a kids dream of wooden tower with underground sections...
Never felt treated so badly before by personnel. Lady in reception felt it necessary to tell us how much she had hated her holiday in the Netherlands (!) Hopefully other nationalities get treated better...
