In late 2017, Eddie Myrskog and Bernhard Forstén decided to challenge themselves and run a 100 km ultramarathon. They had never run a normal marathon before. After a failed first attempt, Eddie and Bernhard were determined for a retry. A team consisting of five friends was formed and a project called BOLD100 began. The goal was to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research by completing a 100 km ultra marathon. The ultramarathon took place on August 31st 2018, raising 12 190 € for breast cancer research. As a result of the successful project, we decided to found an association called Bold Projects. Bold Projects is a nonprofit association and with our annual daring endeavors we want to help charities raise awareness and funds. Our projects are eco-friendly, creative and bold.
