One of the best laskiaispullat in Helsinki ️
Great stop for relaxing. Pretty busy during the day but you can anyway enjoy watching the local people meeting up, chitchatting or doing their routines here. I love the atmosphere of this cafe. Delicious hot chocolate and fruit tart. Indulging
It may look like normal restaurant but café Espland is something different ! I wandered in with two friends on a Friday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible professional workers . The restaurant was filling up quickly (it was almost 7:00 pm) but we managed to snag a table, Great place.. Located in Heart of Helsinki Professional Staff speaking many languages ( English, Finnish, Swedish) Prices okay Tasty coffee special Brazilian coffee Recommended
One of the best places in town to relax and have a cuppa. During the warmer months it's possible to sit outside and listen to the enormous number of seagulls that sometimes plague the boulevard. Always like to come back.
Service was excellent. The cinnamon roll was also good. The coffee was average, not very good, to be honest.
Coffee and pastries are fresh and tasty, alright. Otherwise, meh. I mean, it's expensive for coffeteria. For example so-called breakfast is two tiny (children size) pieces of bread (one with cheese, other us sweet), orange juice and coffee for 10 freaking euros. Then, the price doesn't even include waitress but it's self-service. Perfect example, why Finland doesn't have social culture. You need a lot of money to hang out in coffee shops or restaurants, and it's not affordable for 90% of population. And you have to queue.. enjoyment? No!
It is a nice old-fashioned place, looks a bit like from Soviet times. It has a good location and some tables outside, though close to the driving road. It can be a bit crowded on the weekends. I had cappuccino and chocolate cake, both were tasty. Personnel is polite and friendly, speaks English. The only thing was that I could not find tea spoons anywhere but it's such a minor thing and didn't spoil the experience for me.
