For 36 at their homepage you also get free evening sauna & late check out. Really good value and location.

Loved that there was sauna, friendly staff. It does say however that they are open 24/7, but when arrived at 23.00, the door was closed, nobody responded to the door bell and i had rang the phone number listed on their website 4 time with no luck. Eventually there was me and two more people waiting outside and someone finally came to open the door at around 23.40. We all rang the door bell, called the phone and knocked on the door for 40 minutes.

Clean hostel. Comfortable beds. Very reasonable prices. A little far out of the way (30 minute walk from the center). Free sauna if you book from their website. No trouble getting in or checking out at all.

The city center is 20 minutes by walk THE GOOD Price, the lowest of Helsinki Not crowded rooms Checkout at 12.00 Free morning sauna 7.00 - 10.00 Clean 24h reception Several small lunges on each floor Desks in the rooms Customer card for discounts Towel included THE BAD Lounge closed at 23.00 and opens at 6.00 Spartan style hostel The cards to open the room door didn't work good Breakfast not included Safety door to the balcony blocked with a lock (see pic) I had to long time until someone came to the reception (after 23.00) No lounge is really large and none has a laptop friendly workspace In the lobby at the entrance, There is a loud noise lasting half second every 10 minutes The receptionist (27.11.2020 23.30) was not to friendly. BOTTOM LINE You can get a two beds room for almost half price than a 24 beds room in nearby hostels. Even though the atmosphere is not really urban or 'travelers hotspot' , and there are nice comfortable places (lounges) to work with a laptop, still it's on my favorite list because of the price. Other hostels are just unaffordable.

Great hostel. Clean, safe, close to city center but not too close, bus stop right next to it. Public kitchen on 4th and 5th floor, women and men’s bathroom and shower on each floor. Can’t find another place at this price range in Helsinki.

Around hotel is very beautiful and quiet village. You can walk to uspensky cathedral. But breakfast is not free, bathroom is shared.
