Was my favorite lunch spot but they getting a bit lazy with menu. After all these years and menu still staying the same also quality getting lower recently. I would give 3,5 ️ as they are the most worth to try in 5th floor

Great and tasty japanese-hawaiian fusion food. We had softshell grab, beef tataki, gyoza and tiger prawns for starter and pork belly, chicken katsu and salmon teriyaki for main course. superfriendly service, thanks!
We went here to have lunch, they were wearing masks, having handsanitizers and keeping some of the tables empty, that was great. We ate the salmon terryaki dish with a potato salad, we did not realize that the dish came with rice, if we knew, maybe we would not have taken the potato salad. Everything else worked well together, but the potato salad was a weird thing to have with all the rest of the things on the plate. Over all a good experience and will come again. They are serving lunch till a bit later than the other lunch places in Helsinki, this was a plus!
I ordered the tonkatsu, had it for lunch with my girlfriend ordered the tiger prawn and pork soup (I forgot the menu name). The menu looks really good but actually it was not really satisfying for 2 reasons. First, the pork fillet/slices were quite a pain to chew. Second, it has a lot combination of flavor and texture, but altogether tastes just mild, not strong enough in my opinion.
Don’t let the location at the mall scare you, it’s a nice little place in a sort of a food court. The place can be a bit noisy, but not annoyingly so in my opinion. Dinner was a bit of a mixed bag, very bold flavours in the starters followed by very subtle ones in the main courses. I think the subtlety works well to enhance the ingredients, but if you’re looking for strong Asian flavours, whatever that means, this might not be the place for you. Quite an interesting drinks menu, and a decent selection of Asian whiskies you don’t see too often. Friendly and very helpful staff.
Tasty yet simple Japanese food. Prepare to queue for a bit!
Food is very fresh and good. I'm not sure about the style but it is a nice mix of food. Very nice view as well and very friendly staff.
Hoku had great food options for both lunch and dinner. The servers are always so friendly and nice. If you ask for take away, they would pack it nicely in a box and even add extra garnish and rice. The chicken karage for their lunch menu is exceptional!
