Very good vegetarian dishes and not that expensive considering the location and the overall luxurious and pleasant intimate atmosphere Had a great dinner,service was accurate ,quick and friendly. Outside tables are also very nice but because of the often cold weather it is more comfortable inside
Great customer service, and proper, delicious Finnish food. The building is stunning, very beautiful from the outside and full of history inside (e.g. black and white pictures on the wall from the time it was opened).

The restaurant is beautiful inside, but your conversation gets drowned out by the sound of other guests. The smoked salmon was well cooked and delicious, however I did find one bone inside. Waiters were polite and attending.
Let me be clear, Kappeli is amazing place to visit. Their food is outstanding and highly recommended. Dishes are fine dining level and the portion size is good, you will not be hungry after a starter and a main. Their bread is exceptionally delicious. Menu is nice and simple, packed with traditional Finnish high quality dishes. You can also just come to the terrace and enjoy a glass of wine or beer in the relaxed atmosphere of Helsinki.
Great food, very friendly staff, great location in the middle of Esplanadi, and the interior of the restaurant is lovely.
