Great little tapas place with a nice beer & wine selection. You choose the size of the tapas plate you want to eat and the server asks you for any dietary limitations, after that it is up to the chefs imagination what ends up on your tapas plate.

A really nice and cosy place for dinner with friends or romantic date. You choose the size of your plate and they will fill it up with several tapas. You just need to tell them if you are vegan, vegetarian or allergic to something. They have organic wines, cashew and oat milk among other things. Service was great, very happy people working there! I loved it and for sure I will go back again soon!
Really nice tapas & wine restaurant run by a couple. Tasty food and prices are very reasonable.
Unprofessional service. Forgot us to sit with water bottle for too long. Obviously 2/3 tables full take the capacity of the whole personnel so before entering for a glass of wine be sure the place is half empty.
Really good tapas and wine bar. Excellent service
Nice place for romantic dinner with my wife, good treat, good food, i am vegetarian and any problem for eat.
Great atmosphere, reasonable prices, fresh food.
We visited Kombo on a Wednesday afternoon. I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time by email (no phone) as there are not so many tables available. The place is simply but nicely decorated, and good for either a romantic dinner or catching up with friends. The staff is composed of a friendly Spanish couple who do their best at giving you a good service. There is no fixed menu, instead, you choose the size of the plate (4, 6, 8 tapas), and a selection of dishes will be chosen based on your the things you like and dietary restrictions (allergies, vegetarian, vegan). Our plate contained: chorizo with cider, tortilla de papatas with aeoli, duck confit in plum sauce, egg plant with parmesan cheese, marinated and grilled portobello mushrooms, barley with goat cheese and grapes, and baked tomatoes with kale pesto. My favourites were the chorizo which was by far the best chorizo I have tried in Helsinki, and the duck confit which was literally falling apart in an irresistibly sweet sauce. All the food was fresh, nicely seasoned, and well balanced. My only complains would be the large amount of oil that it is used in the preparation of the dishes, and the unnecessary mayo provided for the tortilla de patatas. For dessert we had a flan (AKA creme caramel). The consistency and the flavour made up for the smaller than expected dessert. It was very creamy with some citric notes.
