Super interesting local market where you can get all the fresh homemade jam, fish and different products. All the stalls on boats. Super friendly local Finnish people are offering nice products

Really beautiful place. I'd say one of the best ones in Helsinki. This is a place that everyone visiting Helsinki specially in the summer should visit Kauppatori and enjoy the Finnish summer!

It's a nice square with good views of the sea. The market is mostly targeted at tourists, but you can still buy some nice fresh berries and such during summer and autumn. The ferry to Suomenlinna and Korkeasaari zoo leave from here along with sightseeing boats.

A beautiful market square right at the harbour. There are market stands where you can get food, souvenirs or clothes.

The glistening of the cobblestones is light enough to trick you into a bygone era. Or else almost enough. I love this market place. The stalls and the chatter as tourists catch a ferry or search out a meal. A beautiful centre of the city and a place I found myself drawn to again and again while in Helsinki.

No matter how touristy or expensive, but there is no way you can pass through this market without buying anything. The fried fish they're selling is just impossible to resist even if you're not hungry. And there's all other local produce cheese, coffee, bakery items and stuff too. If you are a foodie, you're in big trouble because you'll be stopping at every stall and leave with your stomach heavier and wallet lighter.

Market Square is on the harbour area not far from center, walking distance. Here you can find lots of local produce likes berries, vegetables , meat etc. The are few people who are selling nice snack , soups and coffees too. You can easily explore the market before boarding to local boats for Simolienna island or going to Tallin.
