Helsinki, Finland

It’s perfect for a one day trip! We are lucky to take the tour in a sunny day, you would have a lot of fun gong through the fortress tunnel system, there are a few souvenir shops and quite some coffee shops on the island. Would be a great place for artists to chill and doodle.

Serves it's purpose :) Warm waiting place with lockable phonecharger boxes and free toilets available, info-desk open during touristy seasons, and accessible with strollers. Can get very crowded during rush hours, though, and the open waiting area kind of blocks the entrance from one side, but one can't be too picky! Oh and a gate for residents only is very thoughtful and nice.
Super cozy place! Small island where still live people. There are a lot of old wooden buildings, fortress, church, dugouts and beautiful nature. Watch out! Seagulls can steal your food
Very nice place to visit when you are in Finland
The main ferry stop on the island that connects Helsinki with this lovely island. there's a small covered waiting area and benches around where the passengers can wait for regular services. The services are usually full because the island is a famous tourist destination. However, tickets can be purchased online or through a mobile app (daily all inclusive ticket can cost even less than just a single trip purchased twice). Also, it's accessible by car or bicycle.
Very fun place to explore. The buildings are great and all the cannons are awesome. The military museum was great.
It was a pleasant surprise to visit the island of Suomenlinna in Helsinki. The ferry arrived quickly and was not crowded at all. The tourists were civilized and photographed quietly. It was a wonderful experience!
