A small and cozy place tucked in the back of a souvenir shop offers some interesting takes to traditional cuisine. The Karelian pie was absolutely stunning, while the rest of starters were less than impressive. The lunch salads could use less seasoning, but were interesting due to some unusual ingredients, including buckwheat and pine buds. The daily specials: chanterelle soup and barley porridge with grilled pork were spectacular, though.

Great natural flavours in a cozy little cafe! Menu was very creative with seasonal ingredients! Glad I found this hidden gem!
I really enjoyed my brunch set at Wild. The food was fresh and delicious, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the price was more than fair.
The Karelin pastry with smoked egg butter is insanely delicious and a great deal for 4. Chocolate cake is superb and coffee is really good as well (by Good Life Coffee)
The lunch portions were quite small and with the price of 12,50 you'd assume it to contain coffee but no! (It's 1 extra...) So can't really recommend this place for lunch, but the flatbread served together with lunch as well as the Karelian pasty we got after were stunning. So definitely stop by if you fancy for a coffee and a pasty, but for lunch pass it by (which is quite easy as the location is inside a store! Weirdly enjoying...)
Lovely little restaurant with a creative take on traditional Finnish cuisine. We came for lunch twice during our week-long stay in Helsinki and so we were able to sample dishes both from the regular menu and daily specials. We were extremely satisfied and highly recommend this place.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Very affordable for the quality and creativity of the food. Highly recommend.
Lunch (noodles salmon) was superb! Great broth, delicious bread and large portion. The inside decor works well with the brand.
