We regularly travel between Tampere and Turku and today we decided to have a quick dinner at some place we had not tried before. A quick search (thanks Google) helped us find this place. The restaurant turned out to be a fast food place housed in a far from high-end shopping mall, but we dicided to give it a chance, which was a good choice. The bacon burger we settled on was better than average and the fries were really good. All at a reasonable price. As a bonus, we found there is a quality outlet in the same building, housing brands like Iittala, Marimekko, Fiskars and Finlayson. There is also a glass exhibit and a large shoe outlet close by. We'll be back.

Many of the shops have closed. I've been visiting this place several times over the past decade and have really liked the small butiques and good service. This time my experience wasn't that great any longer.

Located on one of the main routes to Pori from Helsinki and south Finland, it's a great place to stop and shop. There is ample free parking and space to stretch one's legs with a walk. There are washrooms and a restaurant as well.

Good fish and chips in the restaurant.

The Iittala and Marimekko shops are good and there is also a new Finlayson shop. But several of the smaller shops have unfortunately closed. Still, worth a visit if you are in the area.
