Nicely renovated place preserving the former prison atmosphere. Too bad I didn't visit after the prisoners had moved out and before the renovation started. The food is excellent in the restaurant.

Just beautiful place, must visit place after covid
We had the \big feast\ menu and we had a lot of delicious food. At the beginning the portions seems a bit small but at the end was hard to finish all the food! Our autumn menu included seasonal vegetables like pumpkin, mushroom, kale and Brussels sprouts. I didn't have the wine but the starter blueberry cocktail was also very good! :-)
Currently the area is under construction and development, but it looks like it is going to be a beautiful area.
Couple of nice cafes, nice views and unique atmosphere. If funikular works the trip is fun, but climbing up and down really makes the difference
Nice area in Turku. Not so crowded. A Bakery, restaurant and brewery are there.
Nicely illumminated place. Easy to reach with Funicular. Everything closed due to covid19.
Liked it! The day construction is done this place could be 5 stars even. Interesting to see and beautiful views on the top.
