Hit and miss. A lot of what they sell is great, but prices are also high without the guarantee of quality. I especially suggest you avoid their quiches, as the crust is raw without fail, and flavours nothing to write home about. There are several, less fancy looking fishmongers and smaller stalls in Kauppahalli, and you can get same/better quality produce from them for a lower price tag.

Really wide variety selection of fishes, they also serve food such as fish soup and toast skagen. Wine and beer also available. Fish soup is tasty and good size, maybe a bit over priced but worthwhile tasting. Seating area is a bit limited and not good for large groups.

Don’t bring your money here. We came here to eat around 3pm on a Tuesday. All the tables were very filthy, full off dirty dishes etc. We asked an employee to clean a table for us - no answer. Another employee messed up our order and had to make two different receipts. Afterwards, he had to come up to us twice to ask if we took the receipts intended for him. Overall, rude service, incredibly high prices for what you get and just dirty. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere!

One of the most unpleasant meals of my life. All the tables were filthy and greasy. When the server was notified about the state of the tables she shot back that they are too busy to clean them. She then proceeded move the tables around me and began to sweep the floor near where was eating, at one point sticking her rear on onto my table.
