Kotvakkojoki

Kotvakkojoki is a little river in middle Finland. Water starts from a lake (Lehtojärvi), flows through another lakes (Ylä-Kotvakko, Ala-Kotvakko). There are many different characters of this river: long and short rapids full of stones ("koski"), broad, deep and slow river section ("suvanto") between these narrow and shallow places . Pike, pikeperch are common in "suvanto", grayling (see picture!), forelle nearby "koski". The target of this river is Murennusjoki, the total length is about 30-40 km, it is not easy to estimate because of a lot of curved river section. The population is relatively low among this river, thus you can enjoy the whole intact nature nearby.
