I was in Kuopio in autumn of 2018 and it's a beautiful place, from this place you really have beautiful views, the islands in the lake it really looks spectacular, and the autumn colours make it even better.

Great views of the region and a nice café at the top.
Food is really good here. I had the roe deer and my wife had the perch. Both were amazing...see photos. The desert was good. My wife had the fake mushroom soup and loved it. The view from the platform is beautiful and takes about an hour to go all the way around. They do take credit cards and with a reservation there is no fee for the tower.
Very nice view over Kuopio and surrounding areas. Tower and restaurant/cafe were under construction on July 2019, so you couldn't buy any refresments, but the sight terrace on the top was in use. You can choose elevator or stairs, but choose the stairs only If you are in good shape.
Stunning view over lake kallavesi and Kuopio, cafe upstairs. Heavy smell of mildew in the corridor, beware if allergic.
Great 360 views around Kuopio and the area nearby has many outdoor activities.
Worth the price. Amazing views, nice cafe, reasonable prices.
