Good and tidy place to stay. Pretty basic spa. It is old and you can see it clearly, but clean and solid one. The main attraction in the region is the nature anyways. And there is plenty of nature here. Possibilities for Cross-country skiing and snowmobiles are superb. Breakfast is a Finnish version of the English breakfast. No beans but karelian pies and ryebread instead. Every thing you need for a full days activities. Note to non Nordic people, you are expected to use showers and regular sauna naked, and wash your body and hair properly before entering saunas or pools. Steamroom and pools are universal, so use bathrobe in steam room and regular swimming gear in the pool area. The maintenance and cleaning in the spa can be done by opposite sex worker even when the spa is open. So you can see, typically, cleaning lady in the men's sauna, shower and dressing rooms. But, in lesser degree, also vice versa. This is normal in Finland.

Awesome . Rooms are small in hotel units but rest everything is awesome . Sauna , jacuzzi and pool o loved the most. Property at lake side had wonderful view. Nice courteous staff .
Hotel needs renovation. Spa is in 90's state. Breakfast was pretty simple. Pricing quite high vs quality
Nice location, there's place for walk and enjoy views. First expression very positive. Comfy beds, fresh bathrobes, towels however slippers are not included. Do take your own or buy cute with logo (useful souvenir ). It was 1st visit after isolation. We booked room on 3rd floor. Our room had no air-conditioner so air was stuffy. And small windows on sides didn't help at all. Also there were no fridge and tea/coffee with kettle in the room. Keep in mind that. Swimming pool starts at 13:00 so no chance for morning swim️
It's a hotel with cabins and normal hotel rooms. The hotel area has lots of activities, like frisbee golf, hiking trails (cross-country skiing in the winter), activity park for kids etc. The water park is nice for kids, but not that much for adults. There is only one restaurant, so when staying for more than a weekend, you would need a car or take a taxi to Kuusamo city centre to get different food. Beautiful scenery!
Good and clean housing, spa a little lackluster. Nice decoration, good bar and bartenders, a kiosk that is open for a long time, a little arcade.
Won't be coming back to this place in a hurry. The hotel room was hot and thus the night was uncomfortable. The spa is dated and boring, looks like it's about to fall apart. The breakfast was basic. The surroundings are pretty nice though.
The biggest problem is the very high temperature in the room. No AC and windows don't open. Only small useless vents on the sides (only one had a net, so bugs could get in from the other one). So we could not sleep. Probably when it's cold outside the place is nice. The room seemed even recently renovated.
