A nature gem under the pit of Otaniemi Aalto University campus. Great for a walk... and having a view break in the bird watching tower (which is not too high for those of sensitive for heights)

Nice urban environmental protection area. Wetland area with birds and protected flood meadows. Most of the paths and bird towers are on the northern side, close to Villa Elfvik. The southern side has also a single path and access to a single bird tower. To go around the bay, you need to exit the protected area. Also, you have only limited access to view the flood meadows. The bird towers give the best view to the overall area. I stronly recommend taking the path with broadwalks that is accessible from the middle from west or from Villa Elfvik form north.

Todella rauhallinen keidas kehä ykkösen sisäpuolella. Tunnettu erityisesti lintutornistaan ja lintujen muuton aikaan bongareita onkin paljon. Hurjan hyvä ulkoilualue. Voi bongata todella paljon erilaisia lintuja ja myös peuroja. Kesäaikaan lehmät ovat laitumella. Täällä sielu lepää.
Todella upea.
