The paths was mostly through the forest, would have been nice to go by the lake and go and swim since it was so hot. The paths were not very well maintained. There was no water supply anywhere, they had wells, but they contained bacteria. The camping sites were nice and always by lakes.

Liesjärvi is one of the smaller national parks in Finland but it is well worth the visit. It's a lot closer to the Helsinki region than you'd think looking at a map. The Harju (isthmus) is really magical, and the southern trails in the park are some of the lushest forest I've hiked in Southern Finland. The farm (Korteniemi) and campsite (Savilahti) south of the harju are also wonderful highlights of the park. Savilahti is an excellent campsite for swimming and water access with many tent sites, but Kaksvetinen is the most unique campsite and really shouldn't be missed. The pitkopuu trails through bogs and wetlands in the north section of the park are also very special and, as of summer 2020, many meters have been rebuilt.

Not the most popular, but one of the most beautiful. This is by far one of the most beautiful National parks in southern Finland. Unique places and silent forests. I enjoyed it and I'm sure everybody else will too
