Beautiful university campus located at lake Saimaa shore and next to forest-filled outing areas. Very nice external setting with good public transportation services to Lappeenranta center and bus/train station. The LUT University (full name Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT) is a rather new university, barely 50 years old. Still, it is ranked 351 in World University Rankings by Times Higher Education (2021). It also enjoys high student satisfaction rates and some other benefits from its relatively small size. Studies at LUT University are available under the three schools it has. Two engineering schools, School of Energy Systems and LUT School of Engineering Science accompanied by one school of business, namely School of Business and Management. LUT University is also one of the first (non-Applied) Universities in Finland to offer Bachelor's Degree in English language. It also has good readiness to receive international students. I warmly recommend this university.
Good place to study, professors are professional and they know how to keep lectures interesting.

All student \u200d needs are very well taken care of. Excellent research opportunities, very flexible courses also available here , awesome student housing (LOAS) and university restaurants . A great place to study !!
