Our group rented winter gear for a week long expedition and stayed overnight at the Adventure Apes lodge. Heidi and her staff provided an excellent dinner, sauna, accommodation and send-off breakfast before continuing on our trip. Highly recommended!

We have just returned home from a wonderful tailor-made adventure week with Adventures Apes in Kuusamo. It was an amazing vacation and we will still dream of all the great activities (horseback riding, overnight hiking trip and canoeing) for a long time. Heidi is a fantastic guide and lovely host. We really enjoyed every minute at the Adventure Apes Lodge in Kuusamo. All facilities there are nicely renovated and cosy. Heidi has clearly an eye for details and will always do her best to create unforgettable memories for all her customers. The kota is great for outdoor cooking, the sauna is a blessing after a long hike and the food was absolutely delicious and homemade with local products. So why should you also book a holiday with Adventures Apes? First I truly love Heidis ability to organize all kind of outdoor activities all across Finland. Instead of spending hours on long internet research and bookings yourself, you can trust one partner to do that for you. With a guide you usually also end up in awesome places, that you would have never found yourself. In some situations it makes fully sense to trust a wilderness guide, who has all the necessary knowledge about safety and can react in a flexible way to outdoor conditions. Amazing is also, that you can rent high quality gear from Adventures Apes, which will make your trip more convenient and also cost-efficient. And finally Heidi and her partners are good fun to spend time with. I always enjoy meeting new people and sharing experience and stories together. A vacation is about having a good time and getting pampered by a guide, who is helping you and preparing meals for you, turns an outdoor activity in a very special and unique memory. We can only warmly recommend Adventures Apes and also already plan to return soon. A lot more adventures are waiting there for us - thank you for everything, Heidi. You are doing a great job!!!
It was great fun! We had a very active weekend. We went on a sledge on a frozen lake, we hiked in the Finnish forest and we had delicious food throughout the whole trip. We slept in a typical Finnish wooden house, and we had sauna! We even went on a horse ride and on a dog sledge. It was so much fun! :) I would recommend Heidi's trips to anyone who wants to experience the wild side of Finnish nature.
I will never forget the tour Heidi from Adventure Apes offered to me and my group of girlfriends! What fun we had! The day included various activities around Tampere area in Finland during the most beautiful summer day. In the evening we cooked food by open fire and went for a swim on a lake. Sun was still shining in the middle of the night! Unforgettable.

Definitely the best adventure company in Finland! I had an amazing time with Heidi and her crew, we learned how to survive in nature, discovered some amazing hidden gems and I had just the best time ever. Adventure Apes organized our work retreat in Orivesi. Excellent experience, and everything was customized according to our needs and wishes. The evening out cooking salmon soup in a fireplace was the best part. Highly recommended.
