Went here for husky sleigh tour. You get to drive the sleigh which is great fun, dogs are great, very excited when tethered to the sleighs and just want to go. 1Km, 3 Km or 5Km runs on offer. Dogs are friendly and approachable after the run once they have calmed down.

I love animals and horses, that’s why we’ve booked the “Northern Lights on the runners - One horse open sleigh ride”, which according to the source would last about 1 hour. As a result we got a ride that lasted less than 25 min! And for that we have paid 45 per person? Unfortunately that was very disappointing.

Was what you expect for a husky trip however ethically it felt wrong. The dogs are caged or chained up and there didn't seem to be much space for them. Some of the dog houses had a lot of wee frozen up them which was more than a days worth and there was a lot of excrement. I understand it mush be difficult to keep on top of cleaning up after 130ish dogs. I did ask about the dogs being walked/given freedom and was told they do have days off and a run out area. Some dogs appeared stressed and some look scared and cowered back when the man walked past them. We have been to other husky places and we didn't get the same feeling. They have a lot of dogs and it didn't look like they had too many staff which may be the reason it didn't feel like the dogs were 'pets' rather than a tourist thing for money.

Husky ride was good... Staff is very welcoming but firm.... They don't provide snow suit so wear your own....
