A thousand year old fortress hill ruin. The fortress was build against crusaders and other robbers. It allowed locals from large area to gather there and defend themselves against the enemy and withstand even a long siege. The core of the fortress is the large steep hill, and a kettle hole where civilians stayed. You can still see parts of stone fortification around the gates. These are more like large piles of boulders than a stone wall of more modern fortification. All wooden structures are gone so you will need to use your imagination a bit. There are sign posts that explain the history of the location. The perimeter is about 1km long and there is a natural easily to walk wide path, which may be muddy depending on the weather. The attraction is on the top of a hill, so be prepared to climb a bit. The distance is not long though. This is a good visit also for a small children who have a lot of space to run and have good time. Free entrance. Place is protected, so you are not allowed to destroy the ruins.

Mahtava annos Suomen muinaishistoriaa Suomen suurimmassa muinaislinnassa.
Heittähän kivehen järvehen, kivi sanoo "molsk"
Maisemat hienot. Polku pääosin helppoa, kivikkoisempaa polkua on pidemmällä reitillä. Pidemmän reitin pituus n.5-6 kilometriä, rengasreitti. Portaita kolmessa kohdassa. Ei merkattuja tulipaikkoja.
Huikean hienot maisemat joihin ei kyllästy. Voi myös bongailla erilaisia ja harvinaisempia kasveja
