Une experience ibismal. I went to the restaurant expecting a high end restaurant. I was prepared to give them some slack considering it was Valentines Day - probably quite a busy day, let's have some compassion. I was wrong. The restaurant was half-empty, so the promptness of the service should have been something else than we received. We ordered a three course meal for all participants, as well as a bottle of wine. The server checked twice what wine we ordered, still got it wrong. In the end the bill varied between 113 and 195 euros, very confusing. The cheese platter was good, although I am happy I know my French cheese, because the server did not. The fish was excellent (my compliments to the chef). Stay away from the tartar platter. It was infused with a fish cream - so strong that it overpowered everything else, it tasted like spoilt fish, not good at all. In short, trying to be something between a high-end restaurant and a cosy bistro, in the end not reaching either one. To the restaurateur - if you read this, please reach out to me, I would be happy to give you some pointers, in exchange for a bottle of wine. The one bottle I actually ordered.
Great French food, definitely worth the price. The staff is super kind and the place overall is really cozy and classy. The waiter always told about every food and wine getting served which was nice.
