Great place. The castle is huge but has been destroyed in parts a couple of times which can be seen by the rocks of some walls. The tour guide was good but I personally found it boring. No Opera due to Corona this year :(

It's beautiful but is mostly closed now because of corona. You can walk inside a little bit and have a look at a tiny museum with mainly historical notes about the castle's history, but there are no guided tours at the moment. However the view from outside, with the castle in the middle of the lake, is very nice.
You really don't get to see much here. They don't let you go basically anywhere in the castle. Still costs 12 euros. A disgrace for Finnish castles. Don't pay, just watch outside.
The castle is much more beautiful from outside than inside. It would be waste to pay for an entry fee. Castle entry fee cost 12Euro/adult and 13Euro/adult for castle museum. Museum is also just waste of time and money. There is not much anything to see there.
Medieval castle in a stunning location. Guided tours are recommended.
Unfortunately, the castle was in a state of disarray and the guide explained that the castle can only be seen in its natural state during the winter months. You would have to be a brave soul to brave the castle during a Finnish winter!
Maybe now you can walk alone in the castle
Very nice castle and a public park. Mostly free outside opera season.
